Welcome to Peckham Vehicle Hire Services. These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your use of our website peckhamvehiclehire.co.uk and our vehicle rental services. By using our services you agree to these Terms.

1. Peckham Rental Agreement

All vehicle rentals arranged through Peckham are subject to a detailed Rental Agreement provided at booking confirmation or vehicle collection. This agreement sets out specific terms, conditions, insurance details, charges, and your responsibilities for the particular rental. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.

2. Peckham Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Peckham, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old (age restrictions vary by vehicle type, and a young-driver surcharge may apply to drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate to the vehicle category, held for the minimum period stated in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid photographic identification together with proof of address and a payment method in the renter’s name, as required by Peckham.

3. Peckham Booking and Payment

  • Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, or in person at our Peckham location. A booking deposit may be required to hold your reservation. Full payment and a security deposit are usually payable on vehicle collection. All prices are in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. ...

4. Vehicle Pickup and Return

  • You must inspect the vehicle thoroughly at collection and report any existing damage to Peckham staff immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed by you and a Peckham representative. Return the vehicle in the same condition as collected, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be assessed and charged to you in accordance with Peckham’s damage schedule.

5. Peckham Insurance and Liability

  • Peckham provides basic third-party insurance with all rentals. Full coverage details and excess amounts are provided in the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options are available to reduce your financial liability. Please review these options carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the excess amount stated in the Rental Agreement.

6. Cancellation and Changes — Peckham

Peckham's cancellation and amendment policies vary by booking type and notice period. Refer to your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for the specific terms applicable to your reservation. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges.

7. Peckham Prohibitions

You must not use a vehicle rented from Peckham for:

  • Any unlawful purpose or activity involving a Peckham vehicle. Competitive driving, rallying, off-road use, or other hazardous activities. Transporting explosive, corrosive, toxic, or other dangerous materials. Sub-letting to third parties, lending to unauthorized drivers, or permitting use by unauthorized persons. Operating the vehicle while impaired by alcohol or illegal drugs. Uses for which the vehicle is not intended or that exceed its design limits...

Violating these restrictions may result in immediate Peckham rental termination and fees.

8. Limits on Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Peckham Vehicle Hire Services will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for loss of profits, data or business arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will be limited to the total fees you paid to Peckham Vehicle Hire Services for the specific service that gave rise to the claim, calculated over the six months immediately before the claim.

9. Governing Law — Peckham

These Terms for Peckham are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to Peckham Terms

Peckham may modify these Terms at any time. Modifications take effect immediately upon posting on Peckham’s website. Your continued use of Peckham services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
